About Us

Vision

Our vision is that it would be ‘in every sphere of Bury as it is in heaven.’

To us that means every bit of Bury being transformed by the presence of God, every street being filled with the things of the kingdom of heaven, every sector of society being renewed as we follow the way of Jesus.

To focus our attention and enable that vision, we work towards and organise ourselves around three pillars:

Wholeharted Devotion

A furnace community, where we actively pursue prayer, worship, Bible reading and living, and anything else that helps us be more devoted to Jesus.

Transformational Growth

A greenhouse community, where we prioritise discipleship, training, and leadership development, all in the context of close community, to help everyone grow in Christ and be equipped to serve Him.

Multiplying Faith

A springboard community, where we send people out in mission, compassion, and church revitalisation, to share all that we’ve received from God and invite all to follow Him for themselves.

Find out more about that vision, and how you can be involved in seeing it come to be, by listening to these talks:

Team

Everything that happens at St Peter’s is brought about by a whole host of volunteers, who give generously of their time, energy, and expertise. They are served and equipped by a staff team, who work hard to see our vision come to reality.
